Geo Redirects: send a country to a decoy page
Route visitors from a specific country to a different URL — for example, hide your real links from your home country by sending it to a decoy page.

Geo Redirects let you pick a country and send everyone visiting from there to a different URL of your choice, instead of your real landing page. The most common use is hiding your real links from your own home country — so people who know you (like family) only ever see a harmless decoy page, while everyone else sees your real links. It's resolved on the visitor's device, so search engines and link-preview bots always see the same clean page no matter what.

Open the link's edit page
Sidebar → Smart Links → click the link you want to protect → Edit.

Open the Advanced section
Scroll down to the "Advanced" heading and click it to expand. Inside you'll find the "Geo Redirects" block (the one with the map-pin icon).

Add a rule
Click "Add Geo Rule". A rule card appears with two fields: Country and "Redirect to (decoy URL)".

Pick the country and the decoy URL
Choose the country from the dropdown (e.g. Spain), then paste the full decoy URL visitors from that country should land on instead — for example a plain Instagram profile, a blog, or any safe-looking page (https://...).

Save
Save the link. You can add more rules (one country each, up to 20) or remove any rule with the trash icon.
Tip
Point the decoy URL at something boring and believable, not an obvious dead end — a normal social profile or website works best. If you only want to hide your home country, a single rule is enough; you don't need to cover every country.
Why this works
Klickly figures out the visitor's country and applies the redirect after the page loads, in the visitor's browser. The page that gets served and previewed is always your normal one, so when your link is scanned or shows a preview, nothing reveals the decoy.
Good to know / limits
Geo Redirects need a Pro, Agency or Scale plan — you'll see an upgrade message on save otherwise. Country detection is based on the visitor's network location, so it's accurate for most people but not 100% (someone on a VPN can look like another country). Treat it as a strong privacy layer for casual viewers, not a guarantee that a determined, tech-savvy person can never reach your real links.
